A Connected status is only the first check. Confirm that ordinary websites
load and that the app remains connected without an immediate error.
Confirm VilaNet shows Connected.
Note whether you selected Auto Select or a specific server.
Open a new browser tab and load two familiar HTTPS websites.
Return to VilaNet and confirm the status is still Connected.
If you chose a specific location for a supported task, verify the task itself
rather than relying only on an IP-check website.
An IP-check website can be a secondary clue, but it is not the only success
test. Some browsers, extensions and private-relay features can affect the IP
they display.
Success check
The app remains Connected and ordinary internet traffic works. If VilaNet
says Connected but pages do not load, follow
Connected but no internet.
If the status changes back
Record the final status and the first visible error. Confirm the device can
reach the internet with VilaNet disconnected, then try Auto Select once.
Preserve diagnostics before reinstalling or changing advanced settings.
